I’ve been self-employed my entire working life. For years that meant buying my own health insurance — comparing plans every fall, guessing at what separated one from the next, and assuming that was simply how it worked.

It took a client mentioning it, years in, for me to learn that an independent agent costs you nothing. The carriers pay the commission whether you use an agent or not — so shopping alone had bought me no savings at all, only the work. Nobody had ever told me.

That is why I got licensed. Most of the people I work with are where I was: self-employed, or turning 65, or running a small business — and unaware that the help is already paid for.

The Agency

Based in American Fork and licensed across Utah, the agency is independent — which means comparing plans across the state's leading carriers rather than selling a single company's lineup. The carriers pay the commission either way, so the comparison costs you nothing.

What matters most is what happens after you enroll. Claims questions, plan changes, and renewals come back to the same person who wrote the policy, rather than to a national call center that has never heard of you.
